Maximize opportunities for revenue generation through multiple channels.
Build and manage customer acquisition funnel in order to drive growth targets.
Productize all updates and new releases deployed by the company.
Increase brand awareness globally by continuing the “bleachers to field” strategic movement.
Develop the company’s mid-to-long term strategic and annual marketing plans in order to achieve business objectives.
Create an annual global marketing strategy with quarterly planned execution that encompasses all marketing segments - Global and Domestic, eventually Consulting as well
Review and update target personas and customer journeys for critical consumer insights on an annual basis.
Review, revise/create and propagate a brand message that will resonate with our target demographic.
Streamline marketing processes to realize cost savings across the department.
Manage, review, and/or select marketing agency partners and review their activities.
Ensure all marketing software is up to date and fit for our purpose.
Design and improve marketing campaigns for each aspect of our company.
Negotiate compensation and manage project details for agencies, outside contractors and third-party vendors related to marketing and promotions.
Review, revise/create and propagate an enthusiastic brand message that will resonate with our target demographic.
Actively participate as a member of the executive leadership team.
Lead and guide all direct reports according to company values and rules of engagement.
Measure the success of marketing and creative campaigns across the business.
Oversee and prioritize all marketing and creative activities across the full marketing and product development mix.
Assess new marketing opportunities for generating business.
Develop, deploy and track communication and marketing strategies for current customers as well as prospective customers.
Review customer retention, referral and acquisition metrics and recommend direction.
Develop, deploy and track marketing campaigns to drive attendance to all training programs and events, virtual and in-person.
Develop, deploy and track all product launches, ensuring all communication is on time and in budget.
Develop, deploy and track trade show and expo initiatives.
Keep up to date with industry and technological changes that impact the business.
Further, develop and oversee the company’s loyalty program and CRM activities.
Set and achieve departmental goals related to social media metrics, video production, creative production, and marketing campaign initiatives.
Set and manage KPI’s for marketing activities across the business.
Follow up with leaders on revenue reports, social media strategies and other components of the marketing strategy and tactics.
Manage workflow for all new product development initiatives once the project is turned over to creative and marketing.
Ensure communications are consistent with brand and style guide.
Respond timely to staff and customers seeking marketing advice or counsel inclusive of creating and maintaining an asset library for distributors.
Background of the Chief Marketing Officer
Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills.
Experienced at operating at the executive level within B2B organizations.
Highly strategic outlook and natural marketing ability.
Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing or Communications required (MBA preferred).
8+ years’ experience in marketing and/or advertising.
3+ years’ experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
Strong leadership and project development skills.
Excellent communication skills.
